HEY EVERYONE-- I KNOW A CHEESY TITLE BUT I HAVE SOMETHING SOME FOLKS MAY THINK IS CHEESY TO SAY!! CHEESY OR NOT- ITS SOMETHING THAT IS IMPORTANT TO ME AND I THINK IS SOMETHING IMPORTANT IN GENERAL!
THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF FACEBOOK DRAMA LATELY- PEOPLE BEING MEAN TO OTHERS , ARGUING,ATTACKING OTHERS. I HAVE YET TO SEE ON THAT ACTUALLY MERITED THE REACTIONS ON THE WALLS! I HAVE YET TO SEE ONE THAT WAS JUSTIFIED - NOW THE ISSUE MAY BE SOMETHING THAT NEEDED TO BE CONFRONTED BUT SOME FOLKS HAVE USED LITTLE TO NO TACT- BREAKING UP FRIENDSHIPS OVER PETTY STUFF. LETTING EGO AND PRIDE GET IN THE WAY-LETTING ONES ON SELFISHNESS TAKE CONTROL AND SAY F'EM TO THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. THE OTHER SAD THING IS THIS- SOME FOLKS DEFEND THIS BEHAVIOR AND STAND BY THIER FRIENDS AND FAMILIES THOUGHTS AND ATTITUDES WITHOUT TAKING IN CONSIDERATION THERE IS TWO SIDES TO THE STORY OR MAYBE THEY JUST DONT CARE TO KNOW ,OR WORSE YET- ARE AS BAD AS THE ONES ATTACKING . MY POINT IS THIS- STAND HONORABLY , STAND RESPECTFULLY,ACT THE WAY YOU WISH OTHERS WOULD ACT TOWARDS YOU- TREAT YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY WITH RESPECT AND LOVE. STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT- NOT YOUR OPINION- BUT WHAT IS RIGHT AND JUST- BE NOBLE AND HONORABLE IN ALL YOU DO. IF YOUR WRONG- BE MAN OR WOMAN ENOUGH TO ADMIT IT-IT IS EASIER THAT WAY THEN TO BURN BRIDGES WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY .
I KNOW I AM ON A SOAPBOX- BUT I HATE SEEING MY FRIENDS GO THROUGH CRAP THAT IS AVOIDABLE IF COMMON DECENCY AND RESPECT WERE BEING USED AND ADHERED TO- I HATE SEEING PEOPLE SIDE WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE PUBLICLY BASHED FRIENDS AND FAMILY, WITHOUT HAVING COURAGE TO KNOW THE WHOLE STORY- TO HAVE ALL THE FACTS BEFORE THEY COME TO RESCUE.
SOMETIMES THAT BIG SQUARE BOX MAY NOT BE A BREAD BOX, IT MIGHT BE A TOOL BOX- SO ASK AND HAVE COURAGE ENOUGH TO GET ALL FACTS BEFORE STANDING YOUR GROUND WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN ATTACKING PEOPLE FOR KNOW REASON- REPEATEDLY ! MAYBE THERE IS A REASON SOME FOLKS KEEP LOSING FRIENDS- LOSING SUPPORT - MAYBE ITS THE ATTITUDE !

The horror short, Raw Meat, is currently in the pre-production phase. Raw Meat, an upcoming film project from the twisted minds of writer/director Tonjia Atomic (Companion, Awesome Ouija Board, Claudia Qui) and actor Bill Oberst Jr. (Nude Nuns with Big Guns, Abraham Lincoln Vs. Zombies) is the story of the skinless killer Meat Head and his quest for vengeance.

Shooting is slated to take place towards the end of 2012. The cast list includes Bill Oberst Jr., Tonjia Atomic, Heidi Honeycutt, and Jason Chamberlain. Fundraising is currently underway and you can find out more on the Indiegogo campaign page for this project.

Director's Statement: I've been making no-budget projects for the last several years. This project is a little bit different. I want this one to have a certain kind of look. It's slightly a homage to the horror of the 80s. It should be a little stylized and a little fun. What makes it unique is the character of Meat Head, the skinless killer. We want him to look good and icky. I also want this project to help bring back the type of horror that I love from the past with practical effects, a great story, a little humor, and a lot of scary fun.
