GOLDEN COBB AWARD WINNER AS BEST RISING B ACTRESS FOR IN A SPIRAL STATE (2009)

SOMETHING I FORGET TO DO AT TIMES IS THANK THOSE HERE WHO DO INTERVIEWS WITH ME , AND THAT IS SOMETHING I WANT TO DO BETTER AT! SO WITH THAT BEING SAID- BIANCA, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS INTERVIEW- I KNOW YOU ARE VERY BUSY GAL AND HAD TO TAKE TIME OUT OF YOUR CRAZY SCHEDULE TO DO THIS- THANK YOU MORE THEN WORDS CAN SAY!!

JG - What put you in place to do horror movies? Was there a film in your past that grabbed you that you knew that you wanted to act and horror was the path?

BB- I have always loved horror films, so having the opportunity to act in them has been a dream come true. I would love to work on a horror flick that really hits home with the fans of the genre in the near future. There was not a particular film that put me on the path to want to act in films. I think horror in general drew me in because it had interesting special effects. That, and well, I have always had a dark side to my personality, even as a kid. I suppose I would be an interesting case study for psychologists.

JG- What is your favorite horror movie (old and or new) ?

BB -Hmm, so many to choose from. I love obscure gems of horror (specifically from the 1970s-1980s) because they are just so odd. I really enjoy nature and camping, so anything that combines treachery, death and forests is a favorite of mine, especially if it was filmed in the 1970s or 1980s!

JG-. If you were asked to be in a remake of a classic horror- one that would be respectful to the original , the type that would make fans happy and feel good about the film, what movie would you like to do?

BB -Return of the Living Dead just popped into my head! I love that movie as it is, though.

JG- If you had the opportunity to pick a cast and director to star in a movie with , who would they be?

BB -People always want to go with established directors and actors, but I would love to build a rapport with undiscovered talent. I always root for the underdog!

JG - What kind of film would you love to do ,not horror in any way shape or form and why ?

BB -Oh, I want to work on many styles of film, not just horror! A dark comedy, a slick action film, an art house drama- those are all very intriguing to me. I want to explore many genres and characters.

JG- What would you love to do if film was no longer an option , something else in the film industry or maybe a whole different career all together?

BB -What a nightmare! I wouldn't be able to just work behind the scenes because that would be too depressing. But, if that was the case, I would continue going to school for the rest of my life and get in the Guinness Book of Records for saddest failed actor with 100 PhD's. I want to own real estate (Victorian era or earlier), a cabin in the woods, and a farm one day. I love restoring historic homes and buildings.

JG- Are you a reader and if so , what is your favorite book and author?

BB -I read all the time, but for the past two years it has been collegiate textbooks. I used to love fiction and horror novels as a kid, but as I grew older, I sought out more non-fiction. I have a vast knowledge of weird facts and macabre trivia

JG- Now ,fun stuff, if I were to snag your IPOD - what music would be on it right now ???

BB -Technology is kind of useless to me right now. My cell phone is a paper weight that I constantly leave everywhere. I don't have an iPad, kindle, nor do I really want them. I only use the internet for work, fan correspondence, or school. I just received my first iPod for Christmas last year. I haven't opened it yet- I plan on using it for the gym to keep people from talking to me, so a lot of upbeat crud that I would normally not listen to. Personally, I am in a phase of country (modern, gothic, indie divisions, Americana) and folk music (both old and modern).

JG - Any guilty pleasures? Music (secret Loverboy fan) , Movie ( loved Somewhere in Time perhaps?), maybe a Harlequin Romance (you know, the kind with Fabio on the cover ? Hehehe)

BB- Music wise, right now I love Taylor Swift and The Band Perry. Movies... hmm... I suppose Interview with the Vampire because most people think it sucks (heh). I wish I had some Fabio romance novels, that would rule. Right now all I have is I Can't Believe It's Not Butter... spray. My favorite guilty pleasure is watching Ghost Adventures (best quotes ever) and Finding Bigfoot (or anything about squatchin') with my husband. Oh, a random strange thing about me- I always like to fall asleep to "murder shows"- not CSI or anything fake, but the ones that show actual blood. I never found it odd until my husband pointed out that is was kind of creepy. Nothing like getting lulled to sleep to brutal murder. :)
I forgot that my ACTUAL true guilty pleasure is watching Nicolas Cage version of The Wicker Man!!!

TO FINISH THIS WONDERFUL INTERVIEW I WANT TO WISH THIS YOUNG LADY ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD- THANK YOU AGAIN!
